Is being a fashion designer your dream? Or do you wish to show your fashion talent to others? It is time for your wish to come true with the Star Creation Competition.
To begin with, Star Creation (Asia's Fashion Future) is a sub event of Asia Fashion Exchange which is discussed in details in the last post. It is a competition which meant to be a platform for young Asian designers, aged 16 to 35 years old, to display their design and help them to fulfil their dream as a fashion designer. Contestants will go through 3 rounds of reviewing by fashion professionals as well as experts and 12 contestants will be picked to go to the final rounds, where they need to design a collection based on the year's theme which is 'Internationally Asian' for year 2011. Eventually, 3 winners will be chosen and they will be given a prize of cash $10,000. They will also have the exclusive chance to receive a 12 months internship with Singapore's top fashion retailer, FJ Benjamin and the opportunity to launch their own collection which will be shown on Asian Exchange Festival 2011. Winners will be announced on 27 April 2011 at the Audi Fashion Festival.
